Wabash Valley Half Marathon/5K/Kids Fun Run, presented by Athletico Physical Therapy

Wabash Valley Road Runners move its annual Half Marathon/5K race to begin at Ivy Tech College, incorporating the newly developed Ruble Park as part of the 5K course. Friends and family can enjoy hiking the trails while spectating the race or participating in the Kids Zone at the start/finish (yoga, dance fitness, kid-friendly activities) while waiting for race participants to cross the finish line. There will also be a one-mile fun run option for ages 4-14. Stick around for post- race awards and celebration!

7-7:45 a.m. — Race day packet pick-up
8 a.m. — Half Marathon starts
8:05 a.m. — Kids Fun Run starts
8:15 a.m. — 5K starts
9 a.m. — 5K awards
9:30 a.m. — Half Marathon awards
Half Marathon course support will close after the last participant or three hours, whichever comes first.

Online registration through September 13 at Midnight to guarantee a shirt.
Course Description
Half Marathon: The course starts on South Education Dr. on Ivy Tech’s campus and takes you South of Ivy Tech along gently rolling hills and beautiful countryside. There will be water stops along the way and volunteers on the course directing traffic and cheering you on! This is an out-and-back course with the same start/finish line.
5K: The course starts on South Education Dr. on Ivy Tech’s campus and takes you South of Ivy Tech for about one mile, then dips you into Ruble Park for an off-road trail section before heading back towards Ivy Tech for the Finish Line. This is an out-and-back course with the same start/finish line.
Kids Fun Run (ages 4-14): This one-mile course will begin on South Education Dr. and travel down Eaton Drive and back. There will be a Kid Zone party at the finish!
How can I follow a route once I’ve saved it?
On the Strava mobile app, select the route icon on the lower left of the record screen. Click the route you wish to follow and select Use Route to load the route on the record screen for navigation. More information can be found here. If you record with a Garmin device, you can automatically sync your saved routes to Garmin. Lastly, you can download a TCX or GPX version of the route from the Strava website and upload the file to any device that accepts route files in these formats.
