Turn off of I 70 at EXIT 11.

Follow the signs that says 40 EAST (you will actually be traveling North.)

Continue on 40 EAST for approximately 3.5 miles. US 40 will turn right (East).

Go approximately 1 mile (you will pass Rose-Hulman College on your left).

Once you pass the college the next Stop Light will be Hunt Road, turn left on to Hunt Road.

Go approximately 1 mile until you come to Old Maple Road, this will be the first Stop Sign.

Turn left and go about 1/2 mile and the entrance to Hawthorn Park will be on your left.

Turn into the park and then immediately turn left again and you will see the parking area.

HWY 41 and HWY 63 come together on the North side of Terre Haute.
Stay on 41/63 and continue South until you come to Ohio Street (the County Courthouse will be on your right).

Turn east (left) on to Ohio Street and continue east through town to 13th Street. Turn left (North) onto 13th Street.
Go 2 blocks and turn right (East) onto Wabash Avenue.

Travel approximately 3.5 miles on Wabash Avenue. At that point Wabash Avenue becomes US 40.

Go approximately 1 more mile (you will pass Rose-Hulman College on your left).

Once you pass the college the next Stop Light will be Hunt Road, turn left on to Hunt Road.

Go approximately 1 mile until you come to Old Maple Road, this will be the first Stop Sign.

Turn left and go about 1/2 mile and the entrance to Hawthorn Park will be on your left.

Turn into the park and then immediately turn left again and you will see the parking area.
